About our staff

All staff are Dog first aid trained, are experienced and committed dog lovers. We are a mainly family run business, and having owned dogs all our lives, know the importance of our canine friends, and how much time we spend trying to ensure they are well cared for when we cant be there. We all have extremely high standards or care and service. Our qualification are numerous.

  • Heidi Presland B.Sc, R.N

Managing director of All About Your Dog Day Careheidi

A nurse by profession, working in the NHS for 32 years, Heidi previously worked as a senior manager at Peterborough Hospital. Redundancy/retirement prompted Heidi to pursue her life long love of dogs, to pioneer Peterborough’s first, amazing Dog Day Care centre, to fulfil the needs of Peterborough’s dogs and their owners. She is currently studying dog psychology and behaviour to formalise her knowledge and understanding of dogs.

  •  Steffi Presland B.Sc

IMG_3305Assistant manager of All About Your Dog Day Care

Received a First Class degree in Bioveterinary Science in 2013. She has experience as a Horse Riding Instructor, and assisted with dog training classes. Steffi conducted her first class thesis on the factors effecting canine behaviour in response to odour types. Steffi, along with her mum Heidi set up the Dog Day Care business in June 2013. Steffi has lead the introduction of all new dogs to the day care setting and works very closely with all of the dogs on a daily basis.

  • Josh Babbs 

Senior Dog Care assistant

Josh has an Animal Management and Welfare diploma as well as a degree in Animal Management from Lincoln University. He has experience working in a vets and also previously worked in landscape gardening and maintenance. He has a wealth of experience working with and handling large groups of dogs after working here at All About Your Dog Day Care since July 2015.

  •  Jade Wiseman 

Originally training and working as a hairdresser for many years, Jade recently opted for a career change and chose All About Your Dog Day Care to complete her work experience for her Animal Management diploma at Peterborough Regional college. We were impressed with the enthusiasm and hard work that jade showed and so offered her the opportunity to join our team. Jade currently works with us on a part time basis and is quickly learning and developing her knowledge and dog handling skills.

  • Katy Ekins

Katy completed her Animal Management and Welfare diploma in 2017, and is an enthusiastic addition to our team. Katy has experience as a dog training assistant with Lincs Dog Training Group, as well as at a vets. Katy has worked with horses and does agility and trick training with her own dog.
